Yes, all of our tours are completely private and tailored to you. We don’t run group tours, so your day is shaped around your interests, your pace and what you’d most like to see.

How long do your tours last?
We offer one-day tours, multi-day tours and stay-and-tour packages of up to five days. Whether you’re looking for a highlights tour or a more immersive experience, we can tailor the length of your visit to suit you.
Can we customise our tour itinerary?
Absolutely. Every tour is bespoke, so we’ll take the time to understand what interests you most and build your itinerary around that. You can follow one of our suggested routes or create something completely unique.

Where do your tours start and end?
We offer flexible pick-up and drop-off locations across Herriot Country, including areas such as Masham, Ripon, Thirsk and surrounding villages. We aim to make your experience as convenient and enjoyable as possible.
Do you offer pick-up from York or other locations?
Yes, we can arrange pick-up from York and other nearby locations. However, due to traffic and travel time, we often recommend guests travel by train to Thirsk or Northallerton, where we can meet you and begin your tour right in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales.
Can you collect us from a train station or airport?
Yes — we can collect you from local train stations such as Thirsk or Northallerton. We can also arrange airport transfers from Leeds Bradford, Teesside, Newcastle and Manchester airports. Just let us know your travel plans and we’ll organise the details for you.

Where do we stay during a stay and tour package?
We recommend staying in the market town of Masham, ideally located in the heart of Herriot Country. We can arrange accommodation at trusted local hotels, such as The White Bear Hotel, allowing you to fully relax and enjoy your time in the Dales.
Booking & Pricing
How much does a Yorkshire Dales tour cost?
Each tour is individually tailored, so pricing depends on factors such as the length of your tour, travel arrangements and any specific experiences you’d like included. We’ll provide a clear, personalised quote before any booking is confirmed.
How do I book a tour?
Simply get in touch via our contact page or email Paul directly. We’ll discuss your plans, preferences and dates, then create a bespoke itinerary and quote for you to review.
What payment methods do you accept?
Once your tour is agreed, we require a deposit to secure your booking. The remaining balance is due 28 days before your tour. Payments are made securely via card using a simple online payment link included with your invoice.

We recommend comfortable clothing and footwear suitable for the weather, as well as a camera to capture the scenery. The Yorkshire weather can change quickly, so layers are always a good idea.
